...you seem to have a specialty for TOFC flatcars of all vintages, here is one I would like to see
http://atsfrr.net/resources/zebrowski/folio/ft-pdf/ft-tb.pdf  (ATSF Ft-T class converted to TOFC in 1954)

Getting off topic - but don't know how to switch the headings - apologies.

Thanks for this link. Do you know whether there are significant differences between the Ft-Ta and Ft-Tb? Do you  know how the deck was arranged - was it open as the Southern [and latterly NS] ToFC cars, with nailable ends where the trailer wheels were located http://www.nscalekits.co.uk/NSToFC.html or was it boarded fully either with nailable steel or wood? If there are pictures of these cars you can point to, I would be very interested.

Peter,  I started a new thread "Ft-T and other early ATSF TOFC", so we can leave the PRR truck folks to get back to their discussions.
Tom D.

I gave up rivet counting when I couldn't see an N scale rivet anymore.

Follow the links to the Kansas Memory sight and there are many pictures of various trailer flats. Looking at the Folio's the main difference between the A abd B was the rub rails.
