Taking apart a Kato AC4400CW shell

Does anyone have any tips for disassembling a Kato AC4400CW shell? It comes off the chassis easily enough, but I can't see how to get the rest of it taken apart without doing some serious bending and pulling, and I don't want to risk damaging anything.

Thanks,
Chris

The tall walkways on both sides have tabs that hold it together. You need to pull down on the front walkway to get the tab out there then slide cab and tall walkways forward. The side tabs are hard to get to let go.

I have done that once on a friends model and I do recall puzzling over it.

It is a complex puzzle and IIRC I did have to do some bending out (but not to the point of permanently deforming anything) of parts in the walkway areas behind the cab (?). But in the end I thought that it was an extremely clever design. But I don't recall any specific details - sorry. I woudl have to get one of these in hand again to re-learn the process from the start.

Heh, I had thought of googling first, but figured "What were the chances?"

Thanks  :)
