I never thought about using masking tape to prevent the traction tire from bottoming out in the driver groove. Would a thin application of Bullfrog Snot help here?Just wondering
The only thing that worries me about the masking tape is the adhesive. It is not designed for long-time applications and as any other pressure sensitive adhesive, it it might soften or melt when in contact with lube oil or track/wheel cleaning fluids. It can turn into a gooey mess.
If that much oil is leaking out of your locomotive. You've got other problems. The S.
