Key brass imports passenger cars

Does anyone know if key imports put microtrain trucks and couplers on the series # 105 passenger cars ? And if not why would they take off the brass trucks for microtrain trucks and couplers? Thanks

I don't know, but I suspect that they would have been made with brass trucks and no couplers. Are they drilled for body mount couplers? It is probably a case where someone didn't have the radius needed for body mounts and wanted truck mounts instead.
