Temporary Gluing for UniTrack

Any suggestions on a glue to use when attaching Uni Track to foam that will provide a secure but temporary bond?

I've always screwed Uni Track down with micro screws to thin plywood, but am avoiding wood on this project to save weight.

+1...I use the Dap/Red Devil/whoever makes it this week caulk. Home Depot has it in resealable red/white tubes for about 4 bucks a tube. We've used it all over JD's layout and additions/deletions/corrections to track work go very smoothly...

Ah, Ed. Teachers call that substance "Sticky Tack." We use it for hanging posters and putting cute laminated dated apple shapes on bulletin board calendars. Given how well it sticks in my building, I am sure it would qualify as temporary for the layout.

I am actually imagining that the UniTrack will probably become semi permanently attached to the micro layout now under way once the scenery is applied with large amounts of hairspray and diluted white glue.

Store the extra in an old film canister or zip lock bag.

I always have to work mine for a few minutes in my hand before using it after it's been stored all summer.

My worry with it would be creating a small hump in the track with it's use.

Once the cat gets done moving the connected Uni Track around the layout board so it isn't parallel to the edges I'll probably use the cheap caulk method to prevent further realignments by the kitty.

I have attached 1000's of feet of unitrack to blue foam board by just painting the bottom edge of the track at the joint between two sections with white glue,It dries quick,give it a try works great
