Tennessee Railfanning

Hi All,

In the coming months, I'll be traveling to Nashville and the Great Smoky Mountains (with stops in Chattanooga and Roanoke as well).  Are there any hobby shops (preferably N/HO), good (safe) railfanning spots, or just overall cool stuff that I have to see while I'm down in those parts?  Trips to the Virginia Museum of Transportation and O Winston Link museum are already on the agenda for Roanoke.

There are a couple of hobby shops in Chattanooga. The NMRA is based there right down the road from the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum...

There is also a pretty well stocked LHS near Chattannoga, but I cannot remember where it was. The guys at CAMRC sent me there...
