The T-800 is a unique model, great for construction, was its first application. Became a very good road tractor due to the better turning radius than the W-900. The T-800 came about in the early 80's if my memory is correct. The only thing it shares with the W-900 is the basic cab. Bob.

I just got a note from Debbie telling me that the Grapple trucks are packaged and ready to ship.

The T800 was introduced in 1986.  Here is a link to the 25th anniversary news release.  http://www.kenworth.com/news/news-releases/2011/march/kenworth-t800-celebrates-25th-anniversary.aspx

They are everywhere in southern Idaho.  From dump trucks and cement trucks to FedEx day cabs and fully loaded owner-operated OTR tractors.  (That reminds me that we will need an Aerodyne sleeper for this model like the one that came with the Showcase KW T600.)

Yeah,but watch out for the shopping cart.It refused to accept MI. as the abreviation for Michigan because the correct abreviation is MI. :?

I still ordered the grapple truck though along with more mirrors and mud flaps. :D

Mine's been sitting between Montgomery AL and Kearny, New Jersey for 5 days....   :(

I think these are the two slowest sorting centers in the US, since this always happens!
