I think some might find Reading steam a tad "ugly" but I tend to think they have "character"...

It sure is "different" looking!  But I like that!
The boiler looks too short, or maybe the front engine just pulled ahead too far...  :D

I never liked Readings wide-a $$ fireboxes. Other than that it's all steam.

Those articulates (?) are known on the Reading as a N1. They actually rebuilt those into K1 2-10-2s around 1929-1930: From Railroading in the NE Site
