Suggestion for the N scale forum
« on: August 15, 2013, 10:38:07 AM »
Suggestion for the N scale forum: We seriously need more and stricter moderation over posts that are becoming both far too personal and far too negatively vindictive. Apparently some people posting believe they are utterly infallible, but we have had 2 threads locked in recent weeks because infallible people complain no end and post personally vindictive comments about the manufacturers of products 'never getting it right' for every product that comes out, and then lash back negatively at anyone who tries to passively advise them there is no call for such feedback in the discussion.

Seriously: certain members need to be strongly warned by moderators to moderate themselves and their own postings, or perhaps they should be advised their membership in this forum may be reconsidered if they do not cease making this site into their own personal battleground to pass around emotional and social abuse instead of intelligent conversation.

It sounded like a good idea at the time... too bad the caboose wasn't in on the plan.

Knowing several of the mods personally - rest assured that such warnings have already been dispensed.
