A few more out of this series for me.   Yes some are foobs but for now they'll work.   

There's a red MKT gon (a couple of them, actually) that was still around as of a couple of years ago...not sure if it still is, but it for sure was in my era and in fairly captive service on the rock train circuit.  So that will be one, and probably an SP and a BN too.

The Southern Ry. gon may be a foob, but it sure reminds me of the gons that I used to see parked on sidings in the Piedmont area of North Carolina when I lived there in the early 1990s.  I'll likely get one or two.

Damn close to some SOU cars - except for the # of ribs - which on the real thing allowed SOUTHERN to be centered. But as I said, no big deal to me...

I am not a fan of foobies so I will have to do some investigation to see which cars are prototype. I really like gons and would like to have a variety of them.

Doesn't really bother me, because there were cars, e.g., covered hoppers, on the prototype where the SOUTHERN lettering was not centered because of the number of ribs.

Nice selection of new names. The Soo and WC cars are just begging to get beat up and filled with pulp wood from Cheeseland and Da UP, eh!
I don't need these, but I could see myself getting some.

The Southern is a stand-in for a Greenville 2264 Gon, which had one less rib. Otherwise a good standin and you still see them around today.

The DT&I car is right.

The CNW is an ex-Rock island car.
