I be in as Milwaukee Road stuff in my second favorite.

I could be wrong as I am going by memory.  But I am very familiar with the RS1 chassis since that's what I use under U18Bs.

The RS1 model has truck centers of about 31 feet.
The RS3 = about 29.5 feet.

They are close, but not the same.

And remember--- memory is a difficult thing.

I have seen 31 vs 30, but how that equates to an offset truck is another matter. I have held the two close together and given the slop in the trucks, they are very close. Even if there is truly that difference in the model,  I can live with the trucks being 6 scale inches close to the piot versus having to grind the framesides. Others may not want to.

Ike, I could go on with the ridiculous inaccuracies on that site, best not get started....

Yeah, I got blocked, and all my changes were changed back to his inaccurate info...so much for trying to fix stuff.

But its the new generation of kids, they know everything and the rest of us don't...I see it alot at work with brand new Airmen straight out of tech school.

Please be joking....and you're right, the generation after mine seems to have some rather odd problems, mostly with learning (as in they don't try to learn).

Off topicness aside, if some new shells and bits are done count me in for a SDL39 or two too. I really like the look of them

     I plan on releasing a kit much like the last one, it will include, shell and cab, fuel tank, battery boxes and sideframes. I used to include styrene for building up a walkway and side sills with step assemblies. At the least I will include updated step assemblies but with the new casting methods I use now, I would very much prefer to include updated side sills with properly textured walkways.
