I bought a propane trailer from Quebec guy and refused to purchase any more vehicle from him due to the poor quality. I was really interedted in his Volvo tractors, buy could never figure out just how doof the castings were from the photos provided. His paint jobs were awful.
NScaleWorld has used some of his castings or molds before. They are another company I avoid. Their Mack Granite looked halfway decent, but I do not know what he copied it from, if at all. And there is no garantee how nice YOUR casting will come. If you look at NSW's fire trucks, they are a nightmarish cut and copy job from several other fire trucks and the molds are so warn yousee entire wheel hubs missing. Suggestion to manufacturers: if you can't get the wheels true and grounded on your store model, you probably shouldn't be selling that crap.
This is what makes Showcase, GHQ, CinC and Willmodels do damn important. The car you get is the same quality that was photographed. James Will always casts in the same menium gray, perfect for photography and painting. At the first sign of wear, molds should be replaced of the model retired. Thats how you build a brand's quality.
