Wheels of Time announces new PC&F Insulated Box

Guess what I should say is if you compare the bottom edge of the door to the line of rivets going down one of the panels, that line of rivets should go no farther down then the bottom of the door. So I guess whats really going on here is that sill is way too thin. That sill line should line up with the bottom of the ends of the car and not a foot below. I'm thinking that WOT did this to make the car look like it rides lower possibly?

WOT has reviewed and is aware of the comments in this thread, including your concerns over the door.  The digital model is being verified to insure the door and other details are correct.  Be confident that the physical model will be accurate when it hits the market.

Hm, to my eye it looks like the door is the same, but the difference is in the width of the sill, which appears to be more narrow on the model.

BTW are those supposed to be body-mounted couplers?

The WoT advert shows SP698505, which should therefore be B-70-47. These are described as 50'-6" insulated box cars, built by Pacific Car & Foundry in 1969-70 and featured 6'+8' YPDX/LPDX doors, Hydra Cushion underframes, DF-B loaders and 4836 ft3 capacity. B-70-41 and B-70-50 classes appear the same.

Bryan, based on these classes and the WoT artwork, they appear to be different than the Evergreen cars?
