Hate to complain, but WS seems to believe that all N scalers are modeling the 1950's.
It's image licensing, Mike. There is some sort of magic cutoff around '54 or '55. The 1:1 car makers have been hyper-aggressive with model makers "profiting" from "representations" of their products. GM is especially bad, with obnoxious minimum run sizes that make it unreasonable to produce N car models. Ford is a little friendlier in this regard, but as you may note the selection remains limited. Anyway, that magic 1955 for U.S. car models is apparently a dividing line for enforcement. The '60s and later GM models you might be able to buy on eBay are produced under the radar. A major market player like Woodland Scenics has to do everything on the up-and-up.
Interesting that GM didn't care about all those profiteering companies like Atlas and Kato and Intermountain, etc, getting rich off of their locomotive models without licensing
That barn looks like it was sprayed with a box of melted crayons. I think if I was in the market for an old barn, I'd go with Zoomco.
