My layout using a Looxcie video camera

Latest video of my layout. I model mostly UP but no specific area. Presently working on scenery. Used a Looxcie camera mounted on a flatcar. Enjoy.

Bfagan,

Do you know if those distortions (pieces of the image moving independently, vertical surfaces bowing in and out, big color/brightness swings as the lighting changes) are in the original video from the camera, or were they introduced by Youtube when you uploaded it?

Zox,  funny you say that.  The original video doesn't have those distortions.  When I uploaded it Youtube asked me if I wanted then to enhance the video and I said yes.  I think I'll remove the video tomorrow and upload it again.  Thanks for your response.

I'll be very interested in seeing the results--I'm considering getting one of these, as a companion to my current "live" train-cam.

(Dunno if I'll have the guts to open up a $200 gadget to see if I can articulate the camera, though...)  :scared:

Camera cost $144 from J&R electronics in NY and revised video is uploading now.
