Some nice new YouTube footage available

I'm posting this here because I know there are people who would be interested. If it belongs somewhere else, mia culpa.

There's some nice home movie , about 30 pieces, of 50s and 60s footage available on YouTube - http://www.youtube.com/user/mdwilkie1. A lot of PacNW (including SP&S steam and GN and MILW electric), logging roads (shays and climaxes), and a bunch of Rockies and Victoria area Canadian steam stuff. The latter includes some Royal Hudson footage, a PGE diesel piece, and early E&N diesel.

Even if you're not into the locale or RRs, this footage portrays the excitement of why we all love trains well.

The footage is from the collection of the late David Wilkie, who was a prominent photographer here in B.C. for many years.  He was a great mentor and friend, and I have fond memories of spending several summers with him chasing the Royal Hudson.  The footage has been made available on youtube by his son Michael for all to enjoy.
