I biked 27 miles (roundtrip) the other day to shoot the "local" shortline.
When I arrived there was a Pan Am train with a pair of SD40-2s on point outlawed by the old station.
A few hours later the Pan Am Rotterdam Junction local came by to drop off a single covered hopper for the Battenkill.
Not long after they left, a crew came to moved the canned train westwards.
And finally, around 2pm the Battenkill showed up to swap cars at the interchange.
