Of switch machines and ground throws

Splurt!  I have always pondered about taking something like this throw and putting it on top of a slide switch (with the slide switch buried and out of sight), which would power the frog.  Keep up the great work, David!

Considered 
adding strip 'rails' between throwbar/headties to help fill space that awkward gap and create some resistance that would help hold the points in place?  I'm in for a bunch of backsavers if there is a power routing option..

Following this ground throw (which includes Atlas Code 55 adapter plate) will be a backsaver version with yellow handle.

The targets are indeed resin. They started with .005 sheet styrene parts cut on a Silhouette.



A master was made on a scrap of etched brass to help with alignment, and to make sure the slots opened up. I make a lot of them because not every one is usable, but I don't really know which ones are the best until after I make the mold and do a test casting.



Here are a few spare castings on my pinky finger. They're done in both N and Z.



The backsaver handle will be resin also; I'm getting a master lasered for me.
