Advice - best decal paper to use

I need to make a few simple decals (simple being the bleeding edge of my skill level ) and I need to buy a sheet or two of decal paper. These will be simple black text to go on yellow locomotives. I have both a laser and ink jet printer at my disposal. Can I just go to Office Depot and buy what they have, or is there something better? In general, I like thinner decal film (as found on Microscale decals), rather than the thicker film used by Blair and ohers for their graffiti decals.

I like the decal paper from Micro-Mark, and the film is comparable to what Micro-Scale uses.  They make paper for both laser and inkjet printers, with both white and clear backing.  Since you are printing black, if you choose Micro-Mark I would go with the clear laser film.

Thanks! I looked at the web site, under both laser and ink jet, but I can't find any distinction between the thin and thick - their catalog has only one listing for each paper size and order quantity. I typed the AJ200 into their search box and it came up empty. I know, here I come along to show the system actually is not idiot proof! So... what's the magic key to get in?

Tango Papa. You have to be a little patient sometimes to deal with him but of all the paper I have tried, his is the thinest and disapears with a little help from Micro Set. Second favorite is from Detail Master. It is a little thicker and better for large decals.
