OK, I'm not knocking the video or the modeling, they're both well done... BUT... There's something about going through the trouble to install sound in the locos and that effort being tailed by a completely silent train. I grew up on the B&O's Old Main Line, which is really nothing but 60 miles of S-turn. I'm used to the squeak and squawk of brakes and wheels on rails, the thud of loose ties, and clack of rail joints. It just escapes me why you would go through the trouble to have one sound element and not complete the scene with the other railroad-related sounds or the ambient sound that goes with the location. It just makes it all about the locos.
