Bryan,

The voice over was so smooooooooth and sultry.

I like when she tries to say "Micro-Trains trucks with low profile wheelsets" and you can hear her fighting back the laughter.

And she really knows her stuff!  Very nice videos Bryan.

What can you tell us about the load in the PRR gon?  It looks great.  Too bad the Sovereign Modelers Series shelf is currently empty...   :-\

P.S. Not sure how well the Carmina Burana style soundtrack works with the gon video.   To me, nothing says Pennsylvania quite like Polka.    :P

Metal filings from machined aluminum glued together into one rectangular-shaped block to fit the G26 bed.  It looks good because it's real aluminum scrap.  Tough to video though, as it plays havoc with the light meter.  Good as a photo prop, but probably not on an operating layout since loose metal filings could create electrical problems.

The SMS gons are pricey because a lot of labor went into creating them.  They were disassembled, distressed, weathered, reassembled, and then weathered further.  Plus, "distress testing" was done prior on pre-production parts to get the right effect through trial and error.  They look great and have brought good exposure to the company.

The next SMS release will be in the fall, and it will be at a lower price point.  Watch for the upcoming video and photo spread.
