Programming the Athearn N Challenger...

I've programmed my Athearn N scale Challenger (2010 release with factory Tsunami)...but I lose the headlight function. I set CV17 == 207, CV18 == 145 and CV29 == 36 (I realize this should've been programmed -38 for 28/128 speed step control, should that matter?). When reset I get my headlight F0 function, as soon as I change CV29 and CV17/CV18 respectively I lost the headlight function....

Any thoughts?

Alright so this morning I decided to give it one last shot, this time with CV29 set to 038...whatya know it works fine. I've never felt disgusted and happy at the same time.

Speed steps matter. The DCC packets are different for 14 speed steps. The functions won't work because the command station sending 28/128 packets to that address.

Do not divide by zero eh? Interesting I didnt know that! You would think that there would be a separation or standard of some sort.
