Per our discussion elsewhere in these pages, I made it a point to photograph this grain elevator while I was in Portland last week.









There was no way to shoot the north end of it from the public way, but you can probably get what you need from the Bird's Eye aerials on Bing...

A couple of those photos looked familiar.  If you get a chance, check out UP Color Guide To Freight and Passenger Equipment.  Sams shot as your first, from same location with 40 foot boxcars offloading grain to a ship.  Doesn't look like much as changed since that photo (probably taken in the 60's).
