WM and New Haven Equipment On An Excursion Train

I came across this video of an October 1988 excursion from Pittsburgh to Cumberland and return featuring the now famous ex WM GP40 6573. What caught my eye wasn't so much the power, but the former New Haven stainless steel passenger car in the consist, 10 cars back. Would anyone happen to know which group owns it, and if it is still in good condition? You don't see many New Haven passenger cars in preservation these days, and the ones that I have seen are in poor condition.

It's a shame they had to go down the wrong side of the river...

There is still an operating New Haven car going strong as a private car. This is the six double bedroom 24 seat bufett lounge car "Pine Tree State" now owned and operated Piedmont Carolinas Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society. This car was built 1954 for the NH at Pullman"s  Worcester,Mass plant for service on the Washington Montreal Montrealer train. This car was leased by NH during light traffic period winter 1965-66 to ACL for Florida service. The car later became a Penn Central car than Amtrak and was in the consist of Amtrack's first reactivated Montrealer train. It served on many Amtrak routes was retired and the Piedmont Chapter was the winning bidder of the car at an auction in Febuary 1982. Over the years the club has upgraded all the mechinical systems overhauled the trucks and upgraded the interrior furnishings. The car is certified for high speed travel in the NE Corridor at 100+ MPH. It is available for charter. This car has been in the consists of several N.R.H.S. convention trains was part of one of the trains I was on at the Hartford Convention. The car is fully lettered for NH including the square plates on the sides with NH Script lettering. Car is natural stainless steel with no painted area between the windows. A Google search will take you to the cars Web Page. Nate Goodman (Nato).
