ESM etched Creco 6ft doors for IMRC 40' boxcar

The first detail part is in stock.  Creco six-foot single and double doors for the InterMountain AAR 1937 boxcar.  Door stops are included.

Here are a set of doors that were over-etched, but show the positioning on the InterMountain body:

I needed them to model the M&StL 55000 series auto cars featured in the premiere issue of the C&NW Modeler, so I etched some extras.

Wow, maybe there's finally a reason to get a Viking roof from Des Plaines.  I wonder if they still have any?

Well crap, looks like they lost their double doors in '59.  :-\

Might still be a fun project though (and I have a secret stash of early MSTL stuff anyway).

Let me know if you'd like me to post this to the MSTL group.  I think there are a couple N scale modelers, but it would also be nice to show the HO guys that project like this do go on in the N scale world.

Well, the single 8-foot Youngstown door version with its raised Viking roof and billboard scheme is still an interesting prototype to model.  I have one of the stock IM red billboard cars already, so I opted for the original configuration due to the unique doors as well as the raised Viking roof.  Now that the etched parts are in, I can finish my own model.

Sure, post the info to the M&STL group, as there might be a couple of people interested.
