I'm thankful for my middle aged feline modeling buddy; all three of my daughters (yes, even the teenagers); that my folks are here; and that my wife makes the best oyster dressing this far north!

I'm also thankful for our little band of brothers in rails - to each of you, a Happy Thanksgiving from the Nation's Capitol!

I am just glad I finally finished ALL of the dishes. Sweet potato pie helped.

The real question is who is going to be waiting outside the Feather River Train Shop for the 4am opening and crazy deals on black friday?*

In case you missed it... not my video, hopefully something better will be posted soon.  Note that the screen says "Towson High" instead of Towson University...  It's all good... I went to both!  The band is truly awesome.  The bit they did is part of their field show, which ordinarily is spread out over an entire football field, but they managed to compress it down to fit on 34th St.  I've been enjoying pie for breakfast, and watching my kid tear up the Big Apple all morning.

I wonder which precinct house she'll be waking up in, and is there room for a sousaphone on the subway?
