Intermountain PS 5277 Boxcar

Intermountain offers this boxcar with two different types of doors----Superior and Pullman Standard. My question is, what is behind the door if it is removed? Is the body shell open, or enclosed? Is there a molded floor? The reason I ask these questions is because I'd like to model this car with open doors and possibly a load exposed. Thanks!

Reminds me of the scene in Dark City when they rip off the poster advertising Shell Beach and it's just a brick wall behind it.  ;D ;D 8)

MR KLUKE, Yes, you have answered part of my question! Can you also share whatever forum you are referring to? I'd like to also see the end result of that car! Thanks.......

As an aside, Randy tooled it that way so he could use his existing core sets - and that same core could be used on a number of other boxcar projects - some of which were completed, some not . . .

Modeling (or attempting to model) the Central Vermont circa October 1954  . . .

It's a new forum related to the following site...

http://weatheringsolutions.net

What is the story with this?   :)  It looks like the group that frequented a site that now charges. ;)

If someone wanted to model this car with an open door, is there a molded floor? If not, any suggestions on what material would simulate a nailable steel floor? Thanks.....
