Found my drawings for Tower A in Waterloo.



There's a pretty complex stair/walk that I still haven't out completely but I think once it gets started it'll work itself out.

I have one mostly done for the freighthouse too, just need to get the depot done.

That looks mighty close to the MY Tower I built for Maryland Jct.


That was originally a frame building that they covered with that nasty Insulbrick shingle stuff.  Before they were to tear down the prototype, it became infested with bees, so they decided to just burn it down.

Whose ballast is that, you used on your layout?

Whose ballast is that, you used on your layout?

I used Arizona Rock and Mineral Co. ballast.  Really awesome stuff that goes down smooth and stays put when you hit it with the alcohol and glue.  I didn't experience any floating of the ballast.  The color is Mauve and is stock number 117-1.  I got it at my local hobby shop in KC.

New stuff came in yesterday, here's U30C 1776


Here it is with SD40-2 1876.

Now to kitbash an SDP40 someday for 1976. (need a undecorated Kato SD40)

Here a brand new P2K GP38-2:


The only actually work here was painting the part of the cut lever white.

Best part is the the GP38-2 and U30C cost me 100 bucks when put together, and the U30C had DCC (almost impossible to find 1876 for under 100). Now the U30C has the sound/dcc decoder that I put in the SD40-2.
