This little layout of mine made it into the Norwegian Model Railway Magazine MJ-bladet ( http://www.mjf.no/ ). Does that count?

I suppose the extent of the notoriety is in keeping with the size of the layout...

Cool deal, Lee becomes twice famous, and perhaps Railwire will go international too boot.

According to Google analytics

33,879 visits came from 81 countries/territories over the past year .. we even had one visitor from Ghana :)

Jurgen,
Thanks for the recognition, and the link.  The gentleman who made me aware of it was actually from Denmark!  I sent him the link to my actual current track plan, which is now posted on my website.  The one you linked ended up consuming too much floor space, which, if you know anything about us Americans, made it difficult to move about in the room!

You will be pleased to report to your audience that there's always plenty of beer at the ops sessions!  Next time I'll have to pick up some good German bier to celebrate our new exchange program!

Also, my daughter had the privilege of traveling to Germany, studying in Duren for the fall semester last year.  The father of her host family was something of a train buff, too.

Now, about those royalties... ;D

I will be linking your track plan database to my site tonight.  I really enjoyed some of the interesting arrangement you've posted.

Lee

(PS:  For the record, it is WELDON! ;), thanks!)

You may be internationally famous, but none more so than on ATLAS ;)

We all dream of the "large" layouts...like the layouts by Todd Treaster, Phil Brooks, Lee Weldon, Eric W, Jim Reising, and, again, many more

livin large!

For some reason I am reminded of this Far Side classic:

%%^*&&*( Lee Weldon ^*&^R(T(*&Y(YUIG*)Y Lee Weldon *&*)&G*&T)U{UPIUYPH Lee Weldon...

;D

Very nice coverage though!

Thank you, Lee!

I added the new layout ... and also your explanation for changing it  ;D
Friendly nice guys on your photograph ... I hope there will be enough "good German beer" available at your next meeting!

Sorry for the mistake with your second name. But now its correct.

Kind regards
Jürgen

Sorry, I think "enjoying our Nigerian Millions" is a trademarked tag on another board!

Russian?  German?  Heck, I consider HTML one of my foreign languages!
