Just in case you all don't know, Todd's layout is AWESOME.

Additionally, Todd is a very gracious and welcoming host.

If anyone can make it, you really should go!

I know I'm going to be looking hard at my schedule and trying to make it.

Todd,

Getting to run on your layout and to meet you and your wonderful family is a memory I will always cherish.  Were I not several days' drive from Pennsylvania I'd be there in a heartbeat.  You guys are some of the very best the hobby has to offer from generosity to modeling and everything in between.

My only caveat to ANYONE wanting to see and/or operate Todd's layout is that when you get home to your own layout it will seem...  well, inadequate...

Yes, I have layout envy. ;D

The layout is awesome and Todd and his wife are extremely gracious.  When I was there I witnessed four trains running over a period of several hours.  The shortest one had 85 cats the longest had about 120. There was not one derailment or false uncoupling the entire time. But to me the part of Todds layout I like is the two A10's flying low over the ridge- nice touch.

 :-[ >:( :'(

IF I get to go, it will only be for the day on Saturday.

Speaking of which, do any of the DC area folks want to carpool up that day?  Nothing like a two hour car ride with strangers to get you ready for a day of train madness!

Looks good Todd! But get that ugly yellow engine off the layout! I actually have a video from your last open house. Didn't have a tripod to take though, cause I didn't know if you wanted one down in the layout room.
