I've got nothing to show, but I have got a CR SD45 one shot of dullcote away from being ready for service. What service that'd be in 1985? I have no idea, especially since I have a shot of the unit I did in a deadline in '84.

But at least I have something to keep the C424 company now.

Tried out a set of those Tamiya weathering powders, which my lady had bought me as a gift:


Also, i finally figured out how to *not* tip over my bottle of Tenax 7R. (note: cap is actually a brush-cap stolen from an empty Plastruct Plastic-welder bottle.)

Not completely sure; i think she got them in a hobby shop in Roanoke when she was down visiting her folks.

However, i've seen them in several shops up here; i know both Doug's Trains (which replaced Mitchell's on 202 in DE) and Triple A Hobbies on US 30 in Jersey carry them.

Why does it look like you are supporting that bottle with Lionel smoke pellets?  ???

Yes, it's wax. I didn't want to waste that much volume of cyanoacrylate, nor did i want it to be permanent. Cue me looking around, going "what else have i got?"
