IMRC Connection?

Over a month ago I sent an email to IMRC inquiring about their undec rolling stock kits. I haven't heard a peep back since and am antsy to place my order. Does anyone have an inside contact I could borrow to get my questions answered?

The problem is IMRC's decorated models of the 1937 AAR 40' boxcar come with one of 3 different doors types, but their undec kit product does not distinguish what variety of door it comes with (all three perhaps?). Similarly, constructed and painted versions of their 10'6" Modified AAR; 12 panel 40'; and Modified AAR 40' boxcars one of 2 different roof types, but the undec kit again does not specify which it comes with (again, both?). I need to know how to get the variety of doors, car ends and roofs I need. If I could just order roofs, ends, and doors without the kits, that would be fine.

Any help is welcome. Thanks.

I'd be happy if IM would sell parts too.
Just the way MT does.
For now, I have given up on IM kits.

All plastic parts should be available from IM.  You may need to call.  I've had Chuck get me some 1937 boxcars, two of which had the 12 panel bodies in the jewel case by mistake.  I don't remember which doors they came with, I can let you know Tuesday.

I wanted to get my hands on some undecorated 4750 cu ft covered hoppers to paint and decal into oxide red Conrail H56A's (since the good folks at the CRHS started posting pictures online).  I gave IMRC a call, and spoke with someone (the name escapes me) who said they would be glad to sell direct to me.  I asked about going through my LHS to give him a piece of the action, and he said that was fine.  I told him the name of my LHS (Esther's Hobby), and he said he knew who Bob personally.  He said to order through him, and have him call if he had any questions.  Two weeks later, I had the cars.  Nice smooth transaction.  Thanks.
