While on the way to MN I was able to spend a night in my favorite RR city, Waterloo, IA. I knew that the CGW had a scale there and looking over some satellite photos, there appeared to still be a building there. I asked someone who works for the Iowa Northern if he knew if the scale house was the original CGW one, and he thought it was.
I guess I wouldn't bet the house that's the original, but since I'd be the only one who'd ever know, it may be good enough.
