Anyone comment on how LL/Walthers renders "Conrail Blue" on these units?  Ie. do they fit in with a flock of Atlas locos?  [of course Atlas CR blue seems different on every single model, but you get the point]

I would say its a tad more yellow, but well within the Conrail spectrum. Even Atlas has 4 shades floating around.

Initially I wasn't too hot on them, but after getting a pair, the color is within my tolerable limits for "CR Blue".

Just bought mine at MB Klein's on Friday...  Looks pretty darned blue to me, but the blacked grills are a real classy touch.  Overall it's a great looking loco.  I can deal with the bright blue.  After all, in 1980 these would have been but a year old.  So for me they work.

I also like the blacked walkways (ducks for cover!)...
