Hey everyone, yesterday was a sad day, I packed up all my rolling stock for the long move to germany, My wife got orders to Baumholder. we don't move untill Aug/Sep timeframe, but I have to get out of my house so I can finish the renovations and get the place sold, witch in a whole diffrent fiasco. Anyways, I am stuck when it comes to a decition on what to do with my layout, do I crate it and store/ship it? it will be 6+ months in storage and moving. or do I try to sell it to someone? it isn't even close to being done, the trackwork is pretty good, all diesel run great on it, bur some of my steamers are don't like one of the switches. it has a attached 6 track fiddle yard. all of the terrain in roughed in with plaster cloth, and some scenery expermential has been done, but nothing that couldn't be un done or covered up. at this point I would not be heart broken if I had to get rid of it, I am just stuck. I do have a little Switching puzzle that folds in half that I plan on taking with me, and I have Kato Unitrak, so I do have means to run trains if I want to. it is just the decision on what to do with the layout.
so what do you guys think? what would you do?
