Brian, to me it's not an "us vs: them" thing. In some ways, on some cars, I prefer Accu-Mates, but they have had their fair share of "teething" problems. The new McHenry's from Athearn are just a miniturized Kadee #5. They seem to be plenty strong to pull long trains without problems, but that micro-spring on the outside looks like it's waiting to "dissapper" into the "Ether", just like the spring on Kadee #5's sometime do. I"ll let everbody know when I invent the "perfect" N-scale coupler for $25 a pair.... 8)
