Just more infrastructure revitalization for me - a few more light fixtures and the first few rows of ceiling tiles in the basement.  Starting to look like a Clean Well Lit Place.  When I came upstairs the dining room was dark and the basement lights were positively glowing through the cracks in the floor.

I FINALLY got some ballast down, and some gravel roads.  I used an old nylon(no, they aren't MINE) to sift the sand to as fine as I could get it.






the wet stuff is the glue drying.   I like to watch glue dry in the winter, since I can't watch the grass grow.  :

We've also used that technique at the club to sift fine sand.

When harvesting sand for ballast, don't forget to run a strong magnet over it at some point to remove metal particles (they might otherwise end up on your loco).
