The Milwaukee Road rib side cars are now listed. It is kinda weird that the 1939 "Route of the Hiawathas" version comes with steel roof walks, while the 1959 "Billboard" version comes with wood roof walks. I guess I will order both kinds and switch them around myself....I am so happy that these and the Soo Line cars have come to N Scale. Many thanks to Fox Valley Models!!

If you lend someone $20, and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

He does plan on multiple runs. That is a car that just about everyone could use except Lou. He's a new world man! ;D

The cab would be cool too! And more cabeese are coming. That one could be along time coming though.

It appears that my intuition wasn't correct (this happens sometimes...just ask my wife).

Here is what I got from Matt at FVM:
On the wood walk/steel walk issue, it has to do with number series. Milw built the long rib cars and the Ph 1 short rib cars from 1939-40. As built, they were grouped as follows:

18000-18499   Steel Walks
18500-20437   Wood Walks
20438-21187   Steel Walks

I have reserved 6 of the new rib sides. I have a feeling that about $100/month will be going to FVM.
If you lend someone $20, and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.
