True Line Newsprint Boxcars

Anyone seen artwork for the upcoming TLT 50' Canadian newsprint boxcars? I still haven't seen exactly which schemes their going to be doing them in. For example, when I read that the CP cars are "painted & lettered", I gotta see some artwork first... that description is a little, um... vauge.

I have seen some "suggested paint schemes" from someone "in the know" - I don't think they have public technical artwork available yet, although the list of liveries is as follows:

I can think of at least three schemes of CP green. I emailed them about artwork and they said wait till Anehiem. Come and gone, still no artwork. And the TLT website is not available right now http://www.hobbycraft.com/tltcontent/

Assuming this is a prototype scheme, they could at least provide a photo of the real thing. If people have questions as to which scheme they plan to model, they're losing potential reservations...

Not good marketing.

...... and at their MRSP they can ill aford to lose clients.............. I agree - pre production artwork is a "100% requirement"..................................

These are, however, the same gang that think they can set a brass price tag for an HO Plastic 4-8-4 Canadian National Northern without a pre production photo so I'm guesding that my comments are going to have little effect................

I hope the CP  scheme is "Pine Tree" not "Multi Mark" but I also always hope the bargin breakfast at IHOP comes with ham not bacon, so you know my chances are slim........ LOL

Bump.

I've not been paying much attention to model rr'ing lately... are these things still on or what. Still can't find any artwork for these. I've wanted these for a long time, but I've gotta see some artwork before I order.

Not sure what the current story is. TLT's website is terrible, and you can't find decent information on their product line there. I can't even find a decent product listing on their "new and improved" website (it's worse than their old one).

I'd have been happy to find poor information. Nothing like crapping in a box and labeling it "new and improved"  ::)
