It's Thursday again, time for your prototype photos if you have 'em. Here are two from the East Broad Top 40 years ago:

Steam requires constant maintenance - the engineer is adjusting an air compressor on EBT 2-8-2 No. 14 here:


And here's a narrow gauge handcar. The tiny "engineer" is now 42 and anything but tiny:


A "warbonnet" at sea? On freight?

here's a former CSX conductor, now a hogger in the Richmond-Baltimore pool, posing pretty for the camera as the Q398 pulls into Jessup Yard to set out some autoracks

Wes , thats the first nose mounted horn i've ever seen . "Thinking outside the roof I guess"
