Nevertheless…
Over 170 participants, of all ages, of all modeling skills. From master modelers to novice model railroaders, came together to fellowship and combine their individual and club modules into the largest T-TRAK layout to date.
It was especially satisfying to see the amount of youngsters involved, not just in running trains but actually building modules, including a group of special needs model railroaders.
Ideas and techniques were shared across the weekend, and we also gave 4 T-TRAK-specific clinics as part of the convention.
T-TRAK 101 (an introduction to T-TRAK) - Vic McTee
T-TRAK Layouts (thinking outside the “oval”) - yours truly
T-TRAK Operations - Jack Copeland
Modeling a prototype scene with T-TRAK (by Craig Laing, featuring his incredible Prince, WV module)
I was floored at the attendance at these clinics; the clinic rooms were packed full!
Our participants had a fantastic time getting together and acting as great ambassadors for not just T-TRAK, but N Scale, and Model Railroading in general!
