Yes, sorry it took so long to respond. I've pretty much been in a fog for the last couple of weeks.

Peter was at the convention and related a litany of problems that they faced. They lost a key vendor for casting, they had the website stolen or at least co-opted, and they had etched metal delivery problems.

He did say they are going back into production and will have the website solved either with recovering the original or having a new URL and will report that as soon as they are ready. He is aware that they have damaged their reputation and is working diligently to get back to being able to deliver in a timely manner.

He seemed sincere, so I fully expect him to recover.

That would be fantastic, I could really use some of the Clejan TOFC cars he once produced for my New Haven collection. I was worried they were lost to time, and I would need to try to dig around for drawings to use in scratchbuilding.

I talked to Peter at the convention as well and told him that a number of people had been trying to get ahold of him.  He is still trying to get the domain name back and it sounded like he was making at least some progress in that regard.  In the interim, he can be reached via email at nscalekits@gmail.com.

He had a bunch of stuff displayed and for sale at the convention, but I'll note that he also had a sign on his booth that stated if you wanted something you should purchase it at the convention because he was currently unable to export items to the US due to British trade restrictions.  It sounded like he was working to resolve that issue as well.

Dennis, be careful with the Clejan TOFC from N Scale Kits...It's 10-12 years ago since I purchased some and had issues with the decal arrangement. Peter was going to check it out and
modify them to suit. From memory the kit is too short for the decals supplied and shorter than a NH model. I have not heard whether or not he made correct NH model, however  scale drawings and the lettering placement for the NH model are in an old issue of Mainline Modeller..I am not anywhere near whereI can lay my hands on my copy at the moment.

Good to know Jim... If/When Peter can get the website back up I will have to ask about it. Regardless, hoping Peter can get things back up and running. More makers in the space is always good!
