If he had more reservations than inventory provided than I don’t blame him for selling it to those who can pay now. That being said I have had an FA1 preorder get a substitution road number which lead me to have a duplicate. Don’t asked me why I preordered two halves of an ABBA set from different vendors. I also had an order for an item listed in stock that was cancelled, I assume because it wasn’t in stock, with no communication whatsoever. I tracked it all on my credit card activity. I think Paul handles N scale due to an obligation he feels to Pete. I don’t think that feeling applies towards the N scale community.
