Lunde Studios status

Anybody know what if anything is going on with Lunde Studios? I pre-ordered with them last June a kit that was scheduled for release last fall but have been ghosted since late last year on status. Not a peep on multiple inquiries.

They were present at the Amherst show in Springfield.  Bob Lunde is still around but wasn't there. They have been acquired (or merged with) Keyrail Industries, LLC.  The flyer I got still shows building kits available.

They had some samples of one or two upcoming kits at the National Train Show last summer.  The structures looked nice but I can't remember what they were.
I was surprised at the methods they employ in order to get nice flat castings.

Their kits are fantastic. I have most of the N Scale offerings and saw samples of a new kit at the NSE last June. Pre-ordered and had been in contact up until late last year. Nothing since.
Google search returns "temporarily closed" which prompted the question.

Any insight on those methods? I used to do a lot of casting and that is always a trick, getting nice flat parts.

I don't remember all of the details, but they use a milling machine with a fly cutter.  If you look at the back of one of their castings, you can see the machining marks in it.

They also machine the 45 degree edges on the walls for perfect corner joints.
