N Scale Supply has been selling their own "bulk packs" for years - 8 packages bundled together, with a slight discount on price.  ESM's own bulk packs save a lot excess packaging, though, so are definitely a good idea.

yes this an old thread, but...

I'm replacing my MT 403 wheels with ESM.
Before I throw something like 100 pairs of these MT  wheelsets in the trash, does anyone have a use for them?

Scrap loads?  If they're as bad as everyone is saying, I can't think of any use for them other than scenery.

Unless someone wants to 3D print their own trucks, and design them for the shorter axles.  If the wheels themselves are in gauge, it would allow the trucks to be a little narrower.
