Long time, no post. Life and such had other plans.
Now that the air outside is too cold for most everything, it’s time to do something else.
This little Micro has been to a few shows since its debut.
Now that that I’m back to working on it, there are a few important things that need to be done before I can take the scenery any further.
Primarily:
I still haven’t figured out to do with the second tunnel entrance…
I also need to paint the rails/track so I can be ready for ballast.
But, I at least cleaned the track. So there’s that?

Also in the pipeline is finally installing a battery holder underneath the layout. The parts are on order to do it.
The plan is currently to install a panel-mount holder for eight AA batteries underneath the layout. I’ll also install a small center-off toggle switch inside the tunnel for selecting between two resistors depending on if I’m running a Z-Shorty on the layout, or if I’m running my Nn3 Plymouth.
Down the road I may still install a remote relay for turning the layout on and off with a key fob, as this layout is still likely to end up living inside a glass display cabinet in the bedroom when it isn’t out at shows.
