I'm returning to my old passions, classic American Electric Interurbans: This is the Crimson Limited, rolling through the plaines of Texas. A train consisting of two cars, featuring a parlor-observation trailer behind a coach motor. Full color printed, designed for Tomix drives.

I really like your authentically weedy ROW.   Every one I've ever seen in photos is that way because you didn't have steam and cinders to kill off the vegetation.

Haha! This is just KATO Unitrack, covered with NOCH grass mat ... I really like Unitrack for its technical aspects, but I hate its look and the excessively wide spacing between sleepers.

Before the first run, I vigorously brush the track area with a steel brush to remove all loose grass. Then its working fine

This is beyond impressive considering that this complex multi-color paint scheme was printed directly (not custom painted). Yes the grassy right-of-way is also very impressive (and also rather simple to accomplish at the same time).  Brilliant!

That method would work equally well for modeling any northeastern road before Conrail.   Most of the Penn Central in my area looked like that.  And it's too low to model the Wellsville, Addison & Galeton.  Needs to be sill high there.

But yeah, love it, what a great idea.
