NN3 metal fine scale wheels ?

Can they be bought ? Are Z wheels the same as NN3 in diameter ? Looking for 29"

Also how come both the NN3 and Z trucks measure the same for lateral spaced axles . Shouldn't NN3 be near twice the spacing as Z ?

Usually narrow gauge trucks have a shorter wheelbase. But also Nn3 mixes some Z scale equipment.

Narrow gauge trucks came in many wheelbases, far more than most standard gauge trucks of the last century. 

A 29 inch N scale wheel would be 40 inches (39.875) in Z scale.  It might be hard to find such as freight wheelsets.

Z scale 36 inch wheels are very close to N scale 26 inch, common on D&RGW cars, and many other roads.

Z scale 33 inch wheels are exact for N scale 24 inch, another common size, especially on the EBT.

Thanks , now that MTL pulled the plug on NN3 it might be slim chances on fine slim gauge . Wish MTL just made NN3 in unlettered body styles . Maybe a body style repeated every 6 or 9 months on advance order basis .
