I know Lunde Studios does some kits like these, and some Japanese 1/150 skyscrapers are available, but are there any other sources? I'm talking about TALL buildings, even if kitbashing several to make a skyscraper.

I have doubled the height of a number of CMR buildings.  Here are a few.

The large black building in the back corner is The John Hancock which I kitbashed out of the old Atlas modern building panels.

Best regards,

Roger

Rodger, love how you used the top of the Fyfe building for a church. What did you do with the rest of the kit?

Yeah, I knew I'd forgotten somebody (CMR). But those downtown scenes look great. Now all you need are 5000 people figures and dozens of cars and trucks to make it look complete. (and flocks of pigeons on window sills)  I do remember the old Atlas skyscrapers from the '80's (?)

boB-- Good catch on the cathedral that I built from the top floors of the CMR Fyfe Building.  I finished off the roof of the remaining building. The cathedral has lighting and stained glass windows.  I will post a photo of the rest of the Fyfe Building along with several others that I have finished over the last year.  I haven't posted much recently because I was busy closing up my law practice on July 31.  I have celebrated retirement with a trip to the ER on August 11 during which the CT found an 8 mm kidney stone stuck between my kidney and bladder.  First available surgery date is August 31.

And now back to the topic of tall buildings.
Best regards,

Roger
