Caboose end railings

I d like to get my hands on some etched brass caboose end railings.
I have a 3D printed caboose I want to finish, and another I need to repair.  The printed handrails are beautiful,  but shatter if you walk past them too briskly.

MT parts would be helpful, but the B&O in their infinite wisdom, put the ladders on the opposite side, so MTs are backward.

Any recommendations?

You should be able to reverse the Gold Medal Models end railings for the Model Power caboose.  The etchings don't care which way you put the ladder and bend the upper stiles.

I suspect boB has a better solution in the offing but building the caboose end railings from wire is certainly possible if you're building just one or two.
I used the end print as is for the parts painted red, with the exception of the stock ladder painted yellow.  I see your ladder integrity has suffered a bit but stock ladder from Gold Metals would work fine.

You can see I started out using the stock end grabs but decided if the rest of the iron was to be made with .008" PB so should they.

All the iron work is airbrushed separately and then applied.  I always make lots of extra parts 'cause you never know when one will not fit or fly off into the next dimension.  I have a wire bending template drawing done in AutoCad which I will send to you if you wish.

The close up view shows some warts but on the layout it all works just fine IMO.

Best of luck with whichever route you choose.
